. . . and I'm not sure about it yet. I may have made a mistake in buying it.

At that photo angle, at first glance it looks like Liberty is sporting a tremendous woody...

It's a good wheat beer, not too watermelony. Different is good.

It's not my favorite. It tastes like it's made with fresh watermelon instead of an extract. Normally, this would be a good thing, but the natural watermelon flavor is very weak. It comes across as a bit too subtle.
Flavored beers are hard to do correctly. Most manufacturers over-do the flavor. This is one of the few that go too far in the opposite direction.

I like the Watermelon 21st, but it's not terribly watermelon-y. Best on a hot day.
*Disclaimer: I live about a 2 minute walk from 21st Amendment and therefore have never had this other than from a tap.

It seems like it would be great from a tap, the can is starting to grow on me but still not a favorite. It has too much of the watermelon rind taste to me.

Yeah I'm not too much a wheat beer fan but it isn't terrible, just not my favorite.

Yeah, Kona brewing really has turned me off on flavored beers, but I thought I'd give this a chance and I am happy that it isn't overpowered with extract flavor, but still not one I would go out of my way to buy.
